Flight Training Across Los Angeles

The community pages in this directory help future pilots from the San Fernando Valley, Westside, Los Angeles basin, Conejo Valley, Ventura County and nearby communities find relevant training information. Wherever a student starts, instruction takes place at Accelerated Flight School's Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) home base, where local general aviation activity provides useful context for learning cockpit procedures, airport operations and communication.

Our flight school helps students plan around their own availability with a discovery flight, certificate or rating path, and an appropriate training cadence; we do not assume the same commute or schedule works for every neighborhood. This flight school also coordinates examiner planning early and targets checkrides within 1–2 weeks after training completion and readiness when DPE schedules, weather, and eligibility permit. That target is not a guarantee and does not place DPE availability under the school's control.
